" lost wallet, lost book and lost mind ; 6:48 PM "

ok, not good not good.
first, i lost my wallet last week and then my box file and then today my maths text book. luckily it was still there when i got back to the place to find it. the conversation there however was very un-beneficial.
me: hi, aunty...um, i left my book here.
aunty: oh you left your book ah?
me: yup. it's blue..it's..
aunty: wait wait! how i know it's you ah? you lying then how?
me: um..no, well, it's blue..and it's a fat maths textbook. i left it over there (points to table at far end)
aunty: oh really ah? how come just now i never see you?
me: i was there. i have the receipt.
aunty: show lah.
(i show the receipt)
aunty: waaah you order that ah? nice or not? i don't think it is.
me: yeah, it's nice. well, can i describe the book? there's my name on it.
aunty: what's your name.
me: maya.
aunty: maya ah. oh ok.
me: yaaah..so can i have my book? my name's on it.
aunty: how i know it's your name?
me: i have my nametag with me! look, (points to my name tag) maya.
aunty: ohhh..how to pronounce ah?
me: mahhhh-yaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! (obviously annoyed, but i kept my cool.)
aunty: oh ok. so you want the book ah?
me: yesssss. please!
aunty: why so careless? then after that have to go through all the trouble finding it.
me: uh - long day at school. *laughs sheepishly* so..my book?
aunty: so thick! are you sure or not..later i don't know ah, not your book!
me: it is my book! see? my name's on it. (jabs at my name)
aunty: your name meh? later fake nametag. *she laughs at her "joke"*
me: yes, it's my name. really.
aunty: i don't know! i ask you ah..maya, is it?
me: yes yes.
aunty: you next time lose your book, got people as nice as me to easily return ah!
me: haha. (EASILY?! HAH!!) thank you.
aunty: ah, ok. ah, bye lah malia.
me: uh..ok. bye.
and finally..got my book. this was at about..2, BEFORE tamil class. then after tamil class i lost the book again at mcdonald's!! and then gracia was so super sweet to follow me all the way back to the interchange to get it. it was easy getting the book back this time. short and sweet, NO conversation. phew. gracia, thank you so much girl!! you simply rock.
ok, i have alot of homework to do. pilleeeedd up with homework. and i have to find out how to do some sums. i'm undoubtedly tired. but then again...isn't everyone?
rut.
