" Learning the third prize ; 5:21 PM "

Haha, don't I have such a lame title for this post? Lol. I'm at home now, I came back from Geylang East library justlike half an hour ago. It was somewhat a blast. I mean, the c b's were alright..I guess. But they were mean at certain parts. Not much to me though. I mean, if I compare to how mean they used to be, a week ago, woah, much better. I don't even know whether they laughed at me. But it's obvious that they must have said at least something behind my back.

When we got to the library, it was nervous-city. First, when we were getting registered by this japanese-chinese lady at the counter, we got a peep at the other performance. And it was like, "Shit!" Because, they were that good. They had all these sound effects and such nice costumes. Cheong-sams, then a mini-banjo-guitar thingy, then there were banging sounds. I was like "Damn it, no chance lah, people," It was stupid to say that actually because it was only the first thing we saw of the contest the whole time!

Then we had to sit in the cold-some-what-smelly hall and then we just chatted to spend our time. Obviously, I did not try and chat with the CB'S! I'd be crazy, really, if I did that. Serene, Hema and I was just fine with the three of us. But the CB members were totally fine. They even talked to me properly. Wow, wow. Surprise!Scrapey was kind of mean to Serene. Or maybe, not. But she said stuff. I don't know out of what kind of intention, or anything like that. And I don't even vaguely remember what she said. Vadi also. Haiyah, forget it. No need detailed dialogue!

Then we got to forget a bit of our nervousness. We went down to the nearest McDonalds to have lunch. And, surprisingly, I wasn't even hungry! Maybe a bit, like a craving. I ordered a six-piece nugget meal, and I upsized the fries, with a small coke. I was sipping on the coca cola, because I was more thirsty than hungry. It was like, SIP SIP SIP. I then wasn't hungry for any fries. But, I was at least sensible enough to pack the fries. Haha.

Then we left for the Geylang East library again. We then got changed into our costumes. Scrapey was like running all over the toilet trying to find her stuff. So messy! Then when she finally got her stuff, she was like "Eh, quick!Oi, no time lahhh!" Then Scrapey was like saying stupid here idiot there. Whatever. Too much vulgarities to mention on my blog. I cannot exceed over the word "idiot". Sorry. Haha.

I had to put on soo much baby powder and my face surface got so moist, it was such a gross feeling. It felt like some solid, melting into goo, onto my face. I had to put on a fluffy halo and then I also put on my wings. I was sooo darn glittery. Firstly, my wing had insecure glitter, secondly, Madam Azlina sprayed glitterish-silver hairspray onto my hair. Then also onto my punjabi top! Gawrsh! Lol. But it was fine. At least my punjabi top was not as itchy as my opening ceremony costume. That costume was like....aiyah, nothing to say!

Then when we went back to the Merpati Hall, I felt like all eyes were on ME. Spotlight, well, not only on me. But I still could feel people looking at me! Ugh, why couldn't they just look somewhere else?! Why?!!

Well, it was soon time for us to perform. I was like clumping on stage. Clumping things about. But, I knew our utter most effort had been put in and there were aboslutely no regrets. Heehaa. Obviously! We did try hard. Okay, then the RESULTS!! YAY!! First they announced the second runner ups, OPERA ESTATE!! Haha. Obviously I was a bit disappointed! But then again..WE GOT A PRIZE!! The second I think was Tampenise Pri, then first was Swastika Primary. Good lah, their story!

Hmm, I go to go! I want to go and explore Tekha Mall. <<>
